About the Book The Book addresses the contemporary importance of Latin, a language whose influence on the Catholic Church, linguistics and law remains evergreen.
Subtitled, ‘Pro Ecclesia et Patria’, meaning, ‘For the Church and Fatherland’ the book is for the Catholic Seminarians and Priests, on one hand, and for the fatherland, where language, law, et al, are studied, on the other hand.
About the Author Ugo S. Aniga took his BA and MA in classics and Conflict management from the University of Ibadan. He was formerly senior Latin teacher at St. Theresa’s Minor Seminary, Oke Are, Ibadan; and currently a part time lecturer in Latin at SS Peter and Paul major Seminary, Bodija, Ibadan-Nigeria.
