Description
Law for the Layman is a unique book which provides a ready answer to almost any problem that may possibly arise in simple day-to-day contractual transactions. It treats basic principles of the Laws of Contract, Sale of Goods, Hire-Purchase, Agency and Torts.
Essentially written for the layman, it also deals with Wills and Administration of Estates, Marriage and Matrimonial Causes and Limitation Law.
There is a chapter on constitution as operational in the amended Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Written in simple and racy prose, technical terms and decided cases are deliberately omitted in order to make the book easy to read.
The book is primarily for the layman, but lawyers will also read it with profit. It is a book for all and sundry.
