National security is so fundamental that without it, there is no functional nation-state. No one in a nation-state which has failed to provide national security will not be negatively impacted. It is, therefore, strange that the Nigerian people have allowed matters of their security to be hijacked by those who are benefiting from the dark veil which they have cast on their security.
