Description
In this book, J. Isawa Elaigwu, a professor Emeritus of Political Science, reflects on Nigeria’s painful process of political development. He argues that “the past has lessons for today” as Nigeria “forges a new future for our children”. He strongly makes a case for a country with a bright and prosperous future. However, he is legalistic enough to warn that this can only take place if Nigerians take their destiny into their own hands and out their ‘act’ together. Dr. Elaigwu believes that, in this process of national rebirth, Nigerians must critically appreciate the past, and constructively participate in the present, as they lay the foundations for tomorrow.
