Description

In his journalism career, Dele Giwa was a standout legend. He spoke truth to power. He had a razor-sharp pen. He had a stunning lack of sentimentality. He was the conscience of press freedom. He had a fierce intellect. He loved the sting and clash of battle and made a roaring success of his brief career. His prose was a cousin to poetry. His articles assembled here say so. The 16 masters of the writing craft, some of the best Nigeria has ever produced, who have commented on his life and legacy, have also said so in the book.

All of these, a cocktail of seductive and enchanting prose, by the word masters, have made this book a collector’s item. Believe me.
