Jonathan Tunde Ogbeha was born in the city of Lokoja on 1st September 1947 to late Joseph Abu Ogbeha and Priscilla Rakiya Ogbeha. His beginnings were rooted in the Anglican church and its creed. The military also greatly influenced him.

This book attempts to chronicle his life. It projects his early days with his family. It also documents his times at the Nigerian Military School (NMS) and the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA). Ogbeha’s success and happy times are narrated. It similarly documents his career in the Nigerian Army and reveals human setbacks. Through it all, the resilience of a noble man and his path is revealed.

The unique twist to the enigma called Jonathan Tunde Ogbeha is the unwritten milk of human kindness behind the sturdy physique of this retired General of the Nigerian
Army. It is this essence that Waniko captures in flowing prose with his incisive chronology of the eventful life of this elder statesman.
