Connie-Jean Aremu is a Ghanaian by birth, She schooled in Ghana Wesley Girls High School ad Capham Country School in London, She belongs to the Ashanti tribe, where by custom, a woman holds prominent place, and is greatly adored and respected, She met her husband, Hon, Justice (D) LO Aremu in England and they married a year before her graduation as the London University in 1970 with her LLB (on) degree, The author has a wide experience in Banking. She feels women are not adored and celebrated enough, in wherever sphere they excel, hence her decision to show her adoration in the birth of the book, A Portia Comes to Judgement when the first lady Chief Justice was sworn in. It is victory for women in Nigerian, a very patriarchal and chauvinistic society
