Soji Akinrinade holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in journalism from Northwestern State University of Louisiana, Natchitoches, LA and University of Georgia,Athens, GA, in the USA. A former deputy editor of The Punch, Akinrinade was, for many years, deputy editor-in-chief of Newswatch magazine until 2010 when he was named editor-in-chief. He is co-author of Moving in Circles published in 2012 by MayFive Media Limited and contributed to OJUKWU, Newswatch Best and Jogging in the Jungle: The Newswatch Story. He is a Nuffield Press Fellow, University of Cambridge, England.
