She retired from the Nigeria Police as Assistant Inspector General (AIG) after years of meritorious included her pioneering of the Special Fraud Unit (SFU), a department that was strategic to Nigerias fight against notorious advance fee fraudsters. As a result of her achievements at SFU, where she recorded the first conviction in Nigeria in an advance fee fraud case code named 419, she was nicknanmed, the Lady at Milverton Road. Service that A former Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Nigeris foremost anti-corruption agency, she studied law at the University of Lagos where she earned her LLB, a masters degree in Law from the Lagos State University and also another mastes degree in Strategic Studies from the University of Ibadan. Married to late Senator (Ambassador) Adamu Ajuji Waziri, a marriage blessed with five children, she lives in Abuja where she practices law as the Principal Partner at Brookfield Chambers.
