Description
Good governance, development and democracy are needed to improve the human conditions in Africa. All three must encapsulate the running of post-colonial states, bringing along the people, promoting participation, justice, and human rights. The African renaissance will not happen unless governance, development and democracy come together as one for the sake of Africa’s progress. This book argues that governance, development and democracy must be about fundamentally transforming the African polity, its economy, its social conditions, and its relations with former colonial powers
