The book explores in depth the various leadership paradigms,Nigeria’s diversity, its politics, civil service and the nation’s trajectory in its nation-building odyssey. It discusses the high cost of leadership failure, values and ethics and comes to the conclusion that transformational leadership is what Nigeria needs to able to realise its manifest destiny.
The Author
Ken Nnamani holds a Masters degree in Business Administration worked for several blue chip companies abroad as a marketing executive and consultant.
He was elected to the Nigerian Senate for Enugu East in 2003. Nnamani became chairman of the committee on Federal Character and Governmental Affairs and member of committees on Privatization, Federal Capital Territory and Appropriation and Finance. On April 5, 2005 he became Senate President, a position he held with distinction until 2007. On May 6, 2008 the Ken Nnamani Centre for Leadership and Development, his brainchild, was launched in Abuja with the goal of facilitating qualitative and transformational leadership and development in Africa generally and Nigeria specifically.
